April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and CASA of Southern Kentucky was honored to represent our mission at the Pinwheels for Prevention kickoff ceremony in Frankfort.
At the Capitol, 3,000 pinwheels were planted—each one representing 17 children born in Kentucky last year. These pinwheels serve as a powerful reminder of our shared commitment to ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, healthy, and happy environment.
We proudly stood alongside Governor Andy Beshear, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, and advocates from across the state as April 2025 was officially proclaimed Child Abuse Prevention Month in the Commonwealth.
CASA of Southern Kentucky remains dedicated to advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, ensuring they have a voice and a brighter future. This month—and every month—we stand united in prevention, protection, and advocacy.
A heartfelt thank-you to Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky for including us in this important event. Together, we can make a difference.
